I unleashed my creativity on this piece, watching as her dreadlocks cascaded into a delicate forest, evoking a sense of the fragile beauty found in nature.

The background is done with a palette knife, a mixture of cold wax and oil paint. The face is done with oil paint, linseed oil and a very fine brush. I experimented with different textures.
