Unsure how to capture the essence of wind, I began with a captivating image—a portrait of wind-kissed hair and face. Through patient experimentation with the palette knife, a landscape emerged, mountains rising in harmony, enriching the scene

The background is done with a palette knife, a mixture of cold wax and oil paint. The face is done with oil paint, linseed oil and a very fine brush. I experimented with different textures.
